certainly gave me a weird feeling, not sure what to think.
as a side note, a friend of mine had a grandmother that survived hiroshima and during high school we had a project in which we were to interview a veteran or someone that was personally involved/experienced a wartime situation. Man, the diary of his grandma was just chilling to the bone. Apparently she actually wasnt all that far from the epicenter of the bomb (somehow surviving it) and I clearly remember her describing the moment of the bomb, where all she could see through her window was the full spectrum of light and nothing else. man o man.

Indiana Jones survived an Atomic Explosion using nothing but a refrigerator.
Bill Brasky survived by farting in the direction of the blast.

Anyone ever see that documentary called "White Light Black Rain: The Destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki" on HBO about a year ago? It was really heart wrenching to watch. They were talking to all these elderly folks that survived the bombs as children. The stories they told were just.......ummm.......I don't even know what to say. The show left me speechless.

You're real sensitive to that kind of stuff, huh? An empathetic soul, perhaps? The car crash you witnessed shook you up pretty good, and this stuff really seems to bother you...
...It speaks well of your character, Jolly, but being that affected by the wellbeing of others can be a double-edged sword.
