Just registered, and would like to ask what may be a dumb question. I have what appears to be an Invader pickup. It has the Seymour Duncan Pickups name and logo stamped on the frame, but the black bobbin does not have the usual white stamped name. I have a few guitars with Duncan pickups of one type or another, but all have the name on the top of the bobbin. Is there any significance to the lack of a name on the bobbin? Thanks for indulging me.

no difference. if it looks like an invader with those poles and says duncan on the baseplate its an invader. some pups dont have a logo for a variety of reasons, nothing to worry about.

Sometimes guitar builders (like Hamer and PRS) or even consumer customers for that matter order pickups without the logo.
