those classic guitar surf genre type of music.

you know, those classic guitar riffed surf songs with that typical clangy reverb.

i've been hearing these kinds of songs for the whole summer but have no idea who composed these and what their title were..?

i need the title and band name/composer so that i can download these song =)

so please help me from my ignorance.

anyway, to be more specific, i'm looking for (mostly old classic songs, those songs that even have that cassete type of recording quality) like the song from a scene from pulp fiction where the couple were dancing.


i also want to narrow down on intrumentals (non-vocal songs)

Thanks, I've been exposed to their music ever since i was a kid. But it was only this time that i knew that they were the ventures!!! thanks

If you can find "Peter Gunn", featuring Duane Eddy, its one of the best "surf" genre songs there is. Also, if you can find the remake by "The Art of Noise", they have Duane Eddy sit in for the guitar parts. Its almost better than the original.
