The 90's will probably be seen as the era of the "porn star."
Living right in the capital of the industry, I can see that the internet sort of stole the exclusivity of it all. Nobody cares where teh nudity comes from anymore, as long as it's nasty and has some sort of theme it can be categorized in.

Bedroom production companies on the net kind of took away what the big companies had the foothold on. Nobody cares about their production value, or crappy actors/actresses.

yup, internet production rings and site networks are where all the real talent is at now. and its amazing how much freaking talent there is! gone are the days of big name companies and their 3 flagship girls. heck many pornstars are trying to transition into the internet business, but are unable to out perform the talent that started there. (example, check out krystal steal's new stuff). she does one scene with phoenix marie and shyla stylez and its clear from the get go that despite her fame and and previous success, she just doesnt measure up.
