    Default Yum Rocket

Has anyone seen the Subway commercial where they refer to thier $5 footlongs as "Yum Rockets"? I mean really, who the hell is over marketing? I honestly don't think I can eat at Subway again without picturing a "frisky" dog............

I'm still wondering how that fat boy got skinny eating Subway subs! If I ate those for lunch everyday, I'd gain weight!

If you think about it... a guy that large would have to consume a boat load of calories to even sustain that kind of weight, no? By cutting back to a 6" sub of a lean meat like turkey with no cheese, it's easy to see that Jared's weight loss wasn't so much what he ate, but how much. He basically starved himself.

Plus, with the $5 footlongs, they aren't exactly promoting small portions, they are just trying to keep up with all the other sub shops who have been offering more sub for equal or less cost.

Word, heavier folks should have a higher caloric intake to maintain weight.

This works to my advantage in the gym also. Its takes far more calories to move myself around than a member of the 45lb bench press club.

Better name for a Pron film...

Jarad lost weight cause he had a team of doctors and physical trainers kicking his ass for a year...the food at Subway had not one thing to do with it. It was only guilty by association.

My wife and I make fun of that commercial every time it comes on. "Yum Rocket" is one of the least appatizing things I've heard a sandwich called in a commercial.

Exactly what I was thinking. Saw them in concert a few years ago. It was awesome.

I eat Subway twice a day, everyday. I've dropped 35lbs since July but not just because of eating Subway of course. They like any other restaurant, have a ton of garbage on the menu but if you do your research and find something healthier, you can get quite the sandwich for about 500 calories and pretty low fat.

Jared lost the weight by wating veggie subs and walking back and forth to his local Subway(s) from work and home and he only ate twice a day and was under 800 calories a day at that. One sub was a 6 inch, one a 12. Both only veggies.

I'm glad I don't eat at Subway, because you all would have just ruined it for me.

I'll go ahead and be the first one to admit that I think it is hilarious. 'Yum Rocket' is a great phrase. Makes me chuckle every time I hear it.

And to all of you who's previous appetite for Subway has been ruined by that marketing campaign... You all need a stronger constitution.
