I was lucky enough to have seen him live twice. i wonder what happened to all of those Aria Pro II signature models of his. I bet they're locked away in alot of people's closets.

Depending on the half of 85 we're talking about, I could have been either sucking nipple for a living or inside a womb.

I was born in 1987, the year "Reign In Blood" came out, so Metallica will always be irrelevant to me.

It's too bad the 'bad-ass metal bassist' schtick died with Cliff tho. Seems like most metal bassists these days are afraid to even look at the crowd, much less play a solo to get them stoked.

Yeah, you ignorant fool, FAIL! n00b!

Cliff was a huge part of 'Tallica. His influence, or rather the lack of it in the latter days has changed the band a lot.
As for me, I was just an egg during this.

RIP is NOT the be all end all of any form of Music.

On their best day, Anthrax couldn't compete with Metallica. Love Anthrax but they just don't compare.

Agree with you H8Red. Both Among the Living and Rust in Peace are **** good albums... but just irrevelant compared to Master of Puppets and Metallica. Reign in Blood is the only truly iconic album that can match MOP in some way, and frankly it doesn't even scratch it IMO.

Master of Puppets is the Metal monument, in my opinion.

Anthrax and Slayer never did much for me. I can name a few tunes that I liked, but noting like what MOP did for me.
