Default Alnico II pro v.s. Gibson '57 classic

i have a gibson '57 classic in the neck position of my gibson les paul classic and a SD Alnico II pro in the bridge. I am unhappy with the sound of the '57 classic in the neck, but i love the Alnico II pro in the bridge. Im thinking about putting another Alnico II pro in the neck so i have both like slash. does anyone know how the Alnico II pro will sound different than the '57 classic in the neck?

I love the AII Pro in the neck position. Ironically, I have the Epi Slash in my hands now as I type this response. I recommend it.

If you want to hear it, check my You Tube site for the Epi demo vids... the Gary Moore Still got the blues tune has a good demo of the neck pup.... hope this helps.

Thanks. Its one of those tones that inspire you to play a certain way, does that make sense? And when played fast, the notes jump from the guitar that reminds me of YJM....

I have it on good authority that Slash is considering changing to Gibson 57's.
Apparently Slash's youngest brother Slosh is using Pearly gates and his other brother Slush is going to change from 59's to Alnico 11's.
Now what ya gonna do ?
