Way to make some extra cash by Uncle McDLT

DLT cannot lift those heavy deer carcasses off the road, so I have found another way to make some money this fall. COLLECTING SCRAP METAL.

There was a guy throwing away 4 propane tanks from a grill. I took them home, removed the valves (brass) and took it all to the scrap yard. I made a quick $8.15.

Next week, I am going to walk the railroad tracks in Holland around the back of Windmill Island. I know there are hundreds of old railroad spikes just laying on the sides of the train tracks. I figure I will have to do quite a bit of walking, but hey, I get exercise and get paid for it.

Scrap metal/steel/brass/aluminum/copper/cast iron is paying well. If you see a neighbor that has junk metal laying around, haul it away for them and make some cash! In no time, you could have some money to pay for another axe!

I've been making money on this side working for text message-based search engine...basically people text questions to my computer, then i google it really quick and text them back the answer. I get everything from "What's the meaning off life?" to "What's the Packers score?" to "How do I have sex?" and it's pretty fun...if you guys are interested i can get you a gig.

That does sound pretty interesting.... hows the pay? Christmas is coming up and right now the only way I can make cash is by selling crap I don't need(already did the that) and I have a car I can part out or scrap.

I used to collect scrap metal around the age of ten, to twelve.I did it with a kid i went to primary school with.Our fathers used to take us to the scrap yard about every 3 or 4 weeks,and we'd sell what we had.Lot's of pocket money for young kids.
