Default Queen + Paul Rodgers - The Cosmos Rocks

Has anyone checked this out yet? I just got it from Amazon and am most of the way through it. It's cool - about what I would expect from these three musicians. Certainly nothing groundbreaking, and the lyrics might be a bit campy here and there, but it's a refreshing bit of throwback rock. And of course the playing/singing is none too shabby!

I'm guessing that's a new CD. I didn't know they had anything out. I guess I'll have to check it out.

Haven't heard any of it apart from the single C-lebrity. Need to get a copy!

Got it a few weeks ago and it's spinning in the car. Like almost any Queen record - a few great songs and a few lame songs. Really, if you're willing to listen to a few bad songs (or just skip them) you'll find a few great numbers there.

Warboys is probably the best song in the album. Still Burnin' and C-lebrity are gems. The opening Cosmos Rockin' is a fun yet common classic rock n roll tune with a 12 bar chorus. The rest is between OK to lame...

I saw the video at a movie theater "one night event" by satellite feed. There were technical difficulties with the sound level until they rebuffered the feed and restarted the concert.

Fairly decent concert. Per info given at beginning, there is over 1% (and increasing) HIV positive where the concert was. Over 350,000 attended the free concert and over 10 million watched on TV - both records. 12 40' sea containers of sound and light equipment for the show.
