Default Wow! Completely balanced treble bleed Mod...

Well, to my ears anyway... I know this is old news to a lot of you.
But I just went from using small ceramic .001uf cap on my neck PU pot,
to an Orange drop .001uf 100v & 150K 1/4 watt resistor in parallel (both leads wired together) and it sounds like perfection...
Completely balanced and equal in tone as I turn down the volume.
I was not expecting such good results... very pleased... I'm easily amused... lol
Was going to try several values of resistors but I see no need to... this sounds perfect!

SD Jazz neck in a PRS, I am using no bleed cap for my CC in the bridge,
it sounds actually better to me being slightly muted, I might even try a 330 pot on it.

I agree... I like being able to use the vol control without sacrificing tone.

I'm taking a break from a wiring job from scratch... I decided to install the treble bleed on the neck pickup volume control only. We'll see how that goes... treble bleed + 2 push/pulls + G&L tone circuit is a lot of crap to get into an SG.

Should have added... I have a couple guitars with treble bleeds, and I use a "150K" resistor in parallel with a .001 Sprague Orange Drop mine are the 715P 600V). I have a small pile of resistors and I end up using one of the 150K resistors that measure low. The one installed tonight measured 136K.

I prefer a resistor in serial with the cap, but that's just me. I've heard that putting it in parallel with the pot screws with the taper of the pot.

Why would you actually want to wire a resistor in parallel with the cap? Seems not quite logic to me. In series makes sense, though.
