getting some unwanted noise...

Hey hey,

I'm getting a lot of sting noise when I play single notes. That is if I play a single note on my b string, the g and the e strings start reverberating also. And this could be poor technique, but when I play a note and let off the string, it constantly sounds like I'm doing a pull off when I'm definitely trying not to do that.

I never had these probs with my stock pickups, but they've showed up with my Alt-8. Don't get me wrong, I really like the Alt-8, but is this a technique issue or are my pickups still too high even after lowering them? Or is it something else?

your truss rod probably moved when you removed strings to change pickups.

Are you making sure to palm mute? If you are, I don't know whats up

I think you're probably right Red. I'm not used to high quality pickups, so I'm probably hearing things I've never heard before. Thus, never had to deal with. What are some constructive ways to deal with string noise when I let off a note and do not wish to have it string ring out?
