    Default Favorite Live Album?

I honestly can't say I have a favorite, but i'm listening to The Grateful Dead live Europe '72. It's fantastic. Any dead fans will already know it's awesomeness.

OZZY - "Speak of the Devil!"...although the single CD chops off two or three songs the original double-vinyl version has.

Corrosion of Conformity - "Live Volume"

The Who - "Live at Leeds". <Need I say more?

Most of these are great albums. My picks would be the crowd favorite Allman Bros. Live at the Filmore East and one nobody thought of,Grand Funk "ON TIME" What a great album. One of the greatest power trios of all time, yet the don't get the deserved recognition.IMHO! Give it a listen.

I forgot to add Neil Young's "Live Rust". It generally builds from an acoustic set, to a thunder-mud set, one step at a time.

I'm not a big fan of the Dead, but the Jerry Garcia Band double live disc is one of my favorite live recordings. Great engineering, great players, and great choice of songs.

    Forgot to include this:

    Phish - A Live One

Although not all the songs are from the same show, it's still a great live compilation.

Texasguitarslinger reminded me of these as well:

The Beatles - Live at the BBC

Led Zeppelin - The Song Remains the Same/How the West Was Won
