I honestly can't say I have a favorite, but i'm listening to The Grateful Dead live Europe '72. It's fantastic. Any dead fans will already know it's awesomeness.

Most of these are great albums. My picks would be the crowd favorite Allman Bros. Live at the Filmore East and one nobody thought of,Grand Funk "ON TIME" What a great album. One of the greatest power trios of all time, yet the don't get the deserved recognition.IMHO! Give it a listen.

Deep Purple - Live in Japan.
And yeah, Live, not Made. Live in Japan is the 3 CD version of MIJ, with all the three shows that took part in the original album.

I forgot to add Neil Young's "Live Rust". It generally builds from an acoustic set, to a thunder-mud set, one step at a time.
