I'm with Perry. AiC Unplugged is intense. You can hear Layne slowly going into withdrawal as the set progresses, adding to the darkness of the album. I had listened to all of these song countless times, but never really "heard" them until this set.

Also, Pink Floyd's Delicate Sound of Thunder. "One of These Days" sends chills down my spine.

Lots of my faves have already been mentioned, but a few to add...

    Johnny Winter - "Captured Live"
    Johnny Winter And - "Live"
Rory Gallagher - "Irish Tour '74"

I love the two recently released Thin Lizzy live albums - "UK Tour '75" and "Still Dangerous"

The Metallica Seattle '89 show on Live Sh*t: Binge & Purge. The Justice tour was the BEST tours they did, too bad I was 8 and mommy wouldn't corrupt me that early (that came at 10!)

I'm an internet person. All we do is waste time evaluating things that have next-to-zero real world significance.

Seattle is my favorite from Live Sh*t, but I went back and re-listened recently and was just blown away by how awful James's tone was.

The Justice tour in general was still pretty good, though I think I prefer the Puppets tour. It's kind of a shame that they didn't properly document their earlier tours. A former bass player had the full show from Metalhammer '85 which was pretty badass. I've also heard a few shows from the Ozzy tour in '86 that were just amazing.

I'll go with Iron Maiden's Live After Death at Long Beach Arena, because I was there as a 14 year old at his second concert. I remember the camera booms hovering all over the stage the night I was there

I spent most of junior high listening to that album. Freaking awesome from start to finish.
