Default Sh-1 (59) and Alninco pro

Whai is the best pickup to get a jazz tone in neck position en Stratocaster (full size humbucker)? A SH-1 (59) or a alninco pro? What is the dimarzio alternative/similar?

'59 has Alnico V magnets whitch is something you don't want - it has a tight bass and 'less musical' mids and highs, definitely more highs whereas Alnico II has more mids and smoother bass and treble.

I'd say that Antiquity neck or AIIP from SD is your best bet.
But, the DiMarzio Air Zone is recommended for neck position in a solidbody guitar for jazz sounds. I'd prolly get that myself, even though it has Alnico V magnet, but it uses DiMarzio's airbucker technology and has a lot of wind so it won't be too bright.
