    Default Another pup comparison

Well I have narrowed my search to CUSTOM 5 but I just came across the duncan custom, as stated before I am a bedroom player, loud but not deafening, Vox 2x12 Valvtronix combo, Mahagony Schecter BlackJack, rhythm player, into metal, nu-metal, hardcore yadda yadda yadda, I have a JB now, hate it. I want clarity, lowend and ballz!!!

    You'll want a custom probably.

The Custom is great for metal rhythm.

Any full blown marshall stack sounds good with the Custom, but it cleans sucks!

C5 with 250K pots does it for me.

the custom 5 and the custom are the same pickup with different magnets. custom 5 has an Alnico V mag and the custom has a ceramic mag. and there is also the custom custom wich is the same with an Alnico II mag.

Yeah... you basically just described a C5 when you say Clarity, Low End and Balls...
For with 500K pots it is Bright & Bassy... I bet Blueman is right on with the 250K pots.

My first guess would be the Custom 5 but if I were you I'd also just get an A2 magnet bar and just swap them and compare (it's really not that difficult as long as you're being careful)
