How Much Credit Card Debt do you have?

Hows your credit? How much card debt do you owe?;
1) 1000.00 and under
2) 2000.00 to 4000.00
3) 4000.00 to 7000.00
5) 7000.00 to 10.000
... or are you buried ?
I got soem cards after haveing bad credit and now am up to about , lets see, 1600.00 on Musicians Freind, 475.00 on Paypal buyer Credit, and 875.00 on my Discover card, so ..that puts me squarely at #2.
This is not counting the 5000.00-7000.00 on Chargeoffs that I am liable for that they keep sending me notices to pay.Yep I was a deadbeat. Guess no surprises there.
I'm going to need to take care of those chargeoffs eventually, cause I will eventually be held liable for them if I own enough asstes.. They offer reduced settlements. Those never go away even though they get wiped from your report ( in theory).I still have very shakey credit. I am turned down by most, but amazeingly get thrpough on others for Card offers. How the heck does THAT work?? I have several cards I do not use to try and build a stable image.

$0 dollars. I put gas on mine to get credit for student loans, otherwise, if I don't have the money, I don't buy it. I pay for all my gear up front and forget about it. The debt wheel stressed me too much!

1,000 or less, but not credit debt. i owe a few hundred dollars to my stepdad for a few things. but, at least i don't have credit debt. it's my life goal to not have bad credit.

That might actually work against you? i would make some purchases on a card then pay them off the same month to establish legitimacy with the credt beareaus.

~1,000 at the moment from a recent cruise....bar tab, day trips etc. It will be paid in full by years end. I don't do credit as a general rule but with a cruise everything gets tied to a CC for ship charges.

Bingo bango. I had $2k in credit card debt around this time last year and it was enough to stress me out big time. I hustled my arse off and paid it off shortly after mid-May.


Now, student loans and car loan are another story entirely. But that's "good" debt, right?

Somewhere around $8,000.00 on the card, $4,000.00 on my truck loan, an $11,000.00 loan I like 4 more payments on and a $1,200.00 loan I like 4 payments on as well.
