I do, whenever i listen to the clips on the forum here....holy crap you guys are good.
Everyone has their own thing that they do. You shouldn't feel like that. Wait till you get older and young lads say the same about you. You're on the right track.
Most of the guys here could take my lunch money.
Honestly, never. My philosophy has always been that when I see a player who I feel is bringing more to his playing than I can accomplish, I try and see what I admire in his playing, and improve my own based on that. So I guess the best way to explain it is that I feel like I'm improving my playing and I'm on the way up, instead of defining myself as a hack.

I'm too lazy to even aspire to "hack."
I don't pretend to be good. I have fun though!

I'm a total n00b.
Every time I pick up a guitar!
I started out with nothing...and I still have most of it left.
that should read...You ever feel like a total novice
You ever NOT feel like a total novice
sure; there's some awesome players here from all over the world. pretty wild when you think about it.
On a scale from 1 to 10 I'm a solid 4-1/2. Thanks for reminding me.
After 40 years of playing I have earned the right to be bummed about my lameness.
