It's nothing fancy my friend.... my '57 was damaged and abused, so I had it re-finished with an aged patina so it looks old. I had Tim at BKP's re-pot and add aged gold covers to a Brobucker and Jazz n to finish it off. Heck, I even put the correct Tulip grover tuners back on too! I'll see if I can get a couple of pics tomoorrow in the daylight... hard to capture the excellent job UK luthier Rob Williams has done. IMO he's done a better aged finish (not relic'd) than the Page 3 pick up custom!

All of that from my folks:
Corduroy grey pants, business cut, which I like as I like dressing up in the cold.
A great bordeaux stripped polo.
A nice pair of Rockport sneakers.
A pair of cartoony looking house shoes, look like a friggin moose and make my foot the size of a medium-sized dog LOL
Zits volume 7 and 10 (lacking only 5 and 8 now, I love that comic)
Some moolah.
From friends:
Iron Man and The Eye
A Taschen Day Planer with some great works of art in there
From myself:
Bought me a cool little Danelectro Fab Echo, it's a slapback, exactly what I like, lacks a time knob but it's very workable in it's own subtle way, I dig it a lot.
I'm pretty happy gift ways, especially considering I wasn't expecting on any. Most importantly it was a good Christmas, no season's Family Meltdown's, my grandmother is here... Good Christmas.

I got a new Timex Expedition 100m SR Rugged Field watch, a rechargable Coleman Lantern for my boat, around $150 worth of fishing tackle, a pair of Bates Military Ranger jump boots with Gortex, a couple of t-shirts, and the usual small socking stuffers, like small flashlights, socks, a few more single fishing lures, that kind of stuff. Got enough cash to buy a new pickup for the Kramer, along with some other stuff I been needing like pots, tuners, etc.

Well, we had the full opening session. My kids bought me a nice weapon light to attach the rails on my Glock Model 22. Very cool. Huge 130 lumens brightness and has a strobe setting. Some other folks must have got Christmas money as both my new amp and my Gretsch sold in the last two hours! Nice.

New tires and wheels for my truck and some new strings and the mm-04 preamp booster for my alexi! Total suprise didnt even ask for it. My little sweetheart did some research and found out that the alexi I had didnt have one. She searched around and set up a time for me to go in and get it installed properly. Will require mile cutting outside but still with the blackout thats in it now it should be a beast (as if it already wasnt)!![]()

100 rounds of 165gr. .40s&w range ammo.

My parents bought me a pair of tickets to the Chicago Symphony for April. I am very excited about that! I bought myself a pair of Lollar p-90s from Scott and put them in my Blueshawk last night. It sounds great now.

So far, 200 bucks from my mother, boxer shorts/various stuff from other people, and a guitar in a few weeks time.

I got myself a little Christmas present this morning... a Pace iLok and Auto-Tune Evo.
Wife got me the Dark Knight DVD and the boxset of "That 70's Show" (I'm on cloud nine right now - I LOVE that TV series).
My parents insist on getting me a new couch for the living room and I keep trying to shrug 'em off, but they keep claiming that they'll have one randomly delivered on my doorstep if I don't go out and pick one out so I may have no choice. I love my parents and they've done plenty for me (I wasn't really wanting anything for Christmas from them), but they're stubborn and I don't think my mother's going to accept "no".
