Default 3-way blade switch wiring options

    Hi Guys

I bought a JB for the bridge of my 81 Destroyer and it has an ibanez 2 wire bridge pickup

I have a 3-way blade switch (the kind in some Ibanez Rgs and others..its not tele style)

I cant find much info on what the leads do on this switch but thisName: W03005PHHO11L3.jpg

Because I have 4 wires on the JB I would like to make the middle position a single coil from the JB

Anyone know how to wire it

    thanks

    BTW
The JB is perfect for the Destroyer. No mud whatsoever..no harsh highs. It just goes to show a pickup can only be described by what guitar its in and the amp it goes through--and of course the player must have the ears to set his amp correctly for the frequencies his guitar feeds into it.

PM ArtieToo or Hermetico, they're the wiring diagram gurus.

Patience, not everyone is spending all day on this site at this time of year.

I could help if if you wanted to use a push pull for the coil split, but I am not really sure about how the switch is wired.

    BTW, welcome to the forum.

How are we supposed what a random switch does? You need to ohmmeter it.

And what loser would hang out on an Internet forum new years eve right before midnight?

    But I'm German, it's 5:44 over there.

And my wife and I decided to dodge the weather - as did the Boston fireworks. Canceled

You will split the JB to the screw coil (the weakest).

    With one pull/push, you can:
    a) split the JB to the slug coil
    b) additionally, you could also split the neck humbucker
    c) It can happens in any 3-way position, not only when both are active.

With one more pull/push, you can:
    a) split neck and bridge independently
    b) or use a parallel/series switch to boost the guitar output

    Notes:
white conductors are shown as light-blue in the diagram
bare wires are shown as light-grey in the diagram

Thanks..I appreciate the work...I'll try it see how it sounds..,maybe I just get a 5way super if it doesnt do it for me
