    Nice vintage axe, but I never cared for the pups on the Melody Makers. They were weak.

    Maybe if Seymour beefed them up they would sound stronger and I'd like them then.

    this one has Evans pups on it.. those were supposed to be good. I dont think they are around anymore.

    whenever i played it , it sounded decent through (of all things) his brother's 5150 head.

    Evans pups are cool but Seymour does make a replacement MM pup that smacks the stock ones around.
