I wish ESP/LTD could get around gibson and make a Hetfield sig Explorer . Not that I really want the Hetfield signature part, Id just love to get a explorer like that with no pickguard..

I believe you can order them from teh custom shop in Japan. There's a guy on the ESP boards who's still getting them and he made mention that they came from the japanese custom shop. I shouldn't neglect to say that hge makes tons of cash and has owned every single Hetfield and Hammet sig that's ever come down the pike, not to mention several custom Ken Lawrence Explorers.

has mick mars ever had a sig model on the market? or just the personal ones he has had mode for himself on tours? (the black girs, girls, girls kramer tele, the theatre of pain baretta.......)

From what I picked up on the Kramer forum, these where custom paint only.
GW ran an interview with Mick a few months back and he claims the strat is an off the shelf model. But, a Mick Mars strat would be cool, and he has earned it.
There might be hope Dave Murray sig just came out.
