Nothing more than an upgrade in screen real estate and horsepower. I've got a 17" white imac that was bought in late 2006. It works great and I don't need a new one. I just want one.

But, the new ones haven't hit yet so maybe my GAS will subside by the time they do hit the street.

i hear the iMacs will come in both dual core and quad core variants....but probably not till the end of the year...

I'm not sure I need quadcore but hey, if I'm going to bite the bullet, I'll probably get one.
