Ahhh, I see now. Maybe one sticker on the pickguard or maybe one on the back (ala Billy Sheehan's bass or the back of Yngwie's strat), but definitely no more than that.

I always liked one well placed, color coordinating sticker. (Those are my roommate's guitars, btw). Check out Mike's (XSSIVE) website, a few of his use single stickers.

I have that exact white & black one, except now it has a pearl guard on it & different pickups. Still plays really nicely though... not bad for $200 back in '92.

I picked up three of them for the same price last year.




One has since been repainted. I love the look of that white with a black guard, though.

Paint it white, beat the crap out of it, THEN cover it in stickers.

Another color idea that I've been wanting to try for a long time, especially in a relic finish, is copper. I have a couple cans of Rustoleum copper metallic that would look great. I did a test spray on the guitar last night.

Here are some pics of the guitar so you all have an idea of what I'm working with. I could even just stick with the existing bare finish but do some more stuff to make it look a little rougher & more worn.
