    Phil, Green Label???? Interesting.

Heck, lots of the time I just drink cheap-A$$ Brokers. Smooth as broken glass.

LOL. I should own stock in the company by now.

I will agree that Crown is highly overrated but I don't find it particularly sweet. Now Southern Comfort, (which I kinda like) theres one sweet whiskey.

Well, seeing as how I am the king of George Dickel apparantly.....lol. I'll tell you how I drink it. I don't think I've mixed whisky in at least 20 years or so. I shoot/chase it. I drink it with Diet Mtn. Dew, but that's just me. I just don't like sugar anymore. Anyways, I've pretty much just always had a glass/plastic cup of Dew and a glass/plastic cup of Dickel. I take a shot of the Dew, keep it in my mouth, and then pour the Dickel in there with it from my other glass. It's really like you're mixing the drink in your mouth. However, I've been known to chase it with Sprite as well. I've also chased it with orange juice. I know that sounds crazy, but Whisky and orange juice really tastes good to me. Sometimes I'll mix about half and half of my Dew and OJ, and then chase my Dickel.

    So, here's how I do it....lol

Sweet Jebus, I got 2 tumblers full of God-knows-what, and I will finish them. I know there's some Jack, Coke, Coffee liquer, Creme liquer, etc., all mixed together. And I have my skate helmet on.

    haha very well brotha.

The hilarious thing is that I walked mistakenly into DICKEL tonight, seeing as I made it to the liqour store ten minutes too late and was forced upon SHINER. Later on this evening (or morning) I took several shots of DICKEL via my neighbor.

HOWEVER. I cannot rate it or comment upon as I was already drunk beyond taste

Crown is gross. Wiser's Reserve is cheaper and is definitely worth a try.

I drink Green Label Jack Daniels. Its harder to find up North, but I have a source. The Green is considered by JD an inferior product but I think it has a smoother flavor.

I have to be horribly drink to tolerate the taste of any whiskey.
That said, there is something called "Ballantine" I think, that seems to taste a little better than all the other ones I've had.

+1 to Islay! One I like is Laphroig.

The Michael Collins sounds interesting, thanks for bringing it up!
