Default Solo recorded with a Dimarzio Virtual Vintage 54 Pro

Okay I wasn't completely happy with the Duncan single-coils I had in my Strat so I installed some Dimarzio vertical humbuckers. Turned out to be a better match for the guitar.

The next song my band is going to learn is a song called Original Fire by Audioslave. I come up with my own solos for most of the songs we do and I came up with this one for this particular song. It's real short solo.

    You got it together.

It would sound a lot better with something behind it.
    Short and sweet.

I only record my solos as solos. Nothing else. The main reason I record them is it's all too easy to forget how one or two of them go. I'm the only guitar player in the band so I'm responsible for memorizing about 35 or so solos.

Recording them insures I won't forget how to play them. Plus I like listening to them for pleasure.

A little bit of Sonitus Delay added as a plug-in to the track.
