Ain't nothin' but a G thang, baby.

Old Peter Green-era Fleetwood Mac.

Well, I just spent a week away and mostly enjoyed listening to Death on my mp3 player. The "Human" album is just incredible, although any of their albums is perfection, and works so well through headphones because there's a lot going on compared to most metal.
And of course Jethro Tull's "Minstrel In The Gallery" album.

BUMP. C'mon folks. Need to load stuff on for a road trip tomorrow.
Ain't nothin' but a G thang, baby.

Fairport Convention. Try the "Angel Delight" and "Liege and Lief" albums.

Oh, and a good dog walking album - The Darkness "Permission To Land".

I've been listening to a lot of Paul Gilbert lately...
Spaceship One just ruuuules

Get Bonfires 1989 release, Point Blank.
It is AWESOME.

Wide variety here:
Pink Floyd - Animals (if you don't have it)
Parliament - Mothership Connection (for some P-Funk!)
Mastodon - Blood Mountain (progressive modern metal)

John Coltrane - Giant Steps (jazz)
Grant Green - Idle Moments (more jazz, with one of the best guitarists ever)
Santana - Abraxas (Latin Rock/Jazz/Fusion, great playing)
Thin Lizzy - Black Rose: A Rock Legend (Irish Hard Rock with two lead guitars, great stuff. Gary Moore is one of them)
Testament - Formation of ****ation (new (2008) Thrash Metal album from pioneers of the style from Bay Area)
Eagles - Hotel California (Country Rockers from California)
Pekka Pohjola - Visitation (Finnish jazz rock, this is really great stuff, get also 'B the Magpie')
Elgar Cello Concerto with Jacqueline du Pré (classical)

In no particular order...
John Mayer - Where the Light Is
ZZ Top - Greatest Hits (or Rancho Texicano, depending on how much of the Rev you want to listen to)
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Greatest Hits
Foo Fighters - Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace
Van Halen - The Best of Both Worlds
Waylon Jennings - The Best of Waylon Jennings
Enjoy.
