    Arrow Furman PQ-3

I was thinking about getting a Furman PQ-3 recently and I was wondering if anyone had ever, at one point, used one before?
Can someone tell me what to expect from one?

    Thanks.

    I have one.

It's an EQ, and it works great. It has high and low Z inputs, so you can use it out front or in the loop.
If you can't play good, play loud.

It's an EQ. All it does is boost and cut the tone's you already have.

Indeed, but it is a parametric, so by adjusting the bandwidth and changing the frequency centers you can get some wah type tones as well, If anyone remembers Stryper, well on their soldiers under command tour they were using mesa mark IIIs with the PQ-3, that wah-ish filtery tone that they used was the PQ-3 (Oz Fox had to use a little BOSS GE-7 to *undo* the eq for his clean sounds) (guitars were Jacksons with EMGs BTW).
The PQ-3 also allows the highest and lowest bands to be set for shelving response instead of peak/notch response as well (I know the 4 did).
You can get a LOT more tones from a parametric EQ then you can from any other type EQ, and they normally have a larger boost and cut range as well. I think you be very happy with it.
