Does anyone have any suggestions? I need to purchase one for when I start my workouts next week. I'd prefer it has the feature of showing calories burned.



I use a Sigma PC-15, very basic, but definitely good enough for me.. It sports a lap count, it monitors time usage in different heart rate zones, has an ordinary stopwatch, shows average and max pulse during a workout and the calories burned...

I need one of these too. Does it allow you to enter weight and age for the calorie counting? How much are they?



I'm quite positive they do influence the burning. You input your gender, weight, age and max pulse, and it will calculate your heart rate zones. The calories burned will be calculated through the pulse you have throughout the workout (it constantly calculates your % of max pulse).
I can't believe how bad I have worded myself here, but you catch my drift?
It goes for around 60$ in the US, I believe..



$60, got to save up for that.
