    Default Pickups for super strat

So I'm thinking about switching EMG's out of my H 1000. It's maple neck thru with mahogany wings. I'm hoping to fatten it up a bit, it sounds a bit thin compared to the les paul (that could partially be due to the 81 being a bit shrill). I'm looking for something fat, with quite a bit of mids, and not super bright, but I still want harmonics to come off of it very easily (kind of like the JB). Right now for the bridge I'm thinking either Custom Custom or an Air Zone. How do those two compare and any other suggestions would be great. Thanks

the CC has strong highs, but they are very smooth and not shrill or ear splitting at all. The bass is very loose and big (but not boomy). The lower mids are very strong due to the A2 magnet. This makes the pickup hit you right in the gut on pwer chords. I have it in my kramer baretta and I love it. Very van halen sounding

both are great in the right gui, in this instance i'd consider an airzone. what kind of music you use it for?

Mainly for heavier type music. I really like the tone of mastodon, opeth, and burst. I don't want something that can only do super heavy stuff though and I don't want something that sounds super modern
