    It is an absolutely beautiful day in Illinois for a new guitar... so I could not pass up the 2009 Guitar Player Magazine Reader's Choice Award winning Godin 5th Avenue Kingpin hollowbody electric guitar with P-90...

    I feel like I recently read a review of that model...Premier Guitar maybe? Looked nice, and the price, as I recall, was mighty fine.

    I posted a thread about those a while ago, as I was quite interested when they came out. Played a few at the store, and they absolutely kill dude. Sadly, the one I played that had a pickup sounded dead, but the other ones sounded absolutely amazing.

    I might have to get myself one, with no pickup, but in black.... just to satisfy my blues craving.

    One of the guitarists in my school's jazz band just got one of those. Cool guitars for sure!

    Just played through all the Two Beagles songs with the new guitar... and I wish I would have gotten it sooner. It will definitely help me write and record some new tunes. And now that I can put 10 songs on my myspace, I'm set.

    Yes it is, and it definitely does. That's what I play in my punk/metal band which is my main project... with the blues stuff being on the side for fun.

    Hip ride daddy-O! What's the neck feel like? I recently realized that I do need to get a guitar like that... full-hollow jazz box. Love playing them, just never bought one.

    Yeah I'll keep the wound 3rd. I've got it tuned down a full step like my classical guitar and I'm digging that tuning also.

    The neck feels like a nice very rounded acoustic neck that I could play chords on all day long. Have not yet busted out the slide on this guitar but that will happen tomorrow for sure.

    If I had the guitar in my hands right now I could give you a better description of the neck... but it is nice...

    Congrats on a killer tone machine !

    I would lovr to get opne be fore X-mass, but realistically, will only be able to get one after Jan next year !
    But i WILL get one !

    Can you pleeeeze play that guitar though a fuzz box (ala Jack White) and give us a mini review on how it handles fuzz/med gian !!! I would love to hear what you think !
