Explain to me TV Jones wiring diagram.Please!

Ok, so I have a power'tron plus bridge and a power'tron neck. According to Mr. Jones's website the two starts (green and red) should be taped and the black end is the ground and the white end is hot. This is for standard series humbucking.

south coil start is green
south coil end is black

north coil start is red
north coil end is white

Now on this website (and all others I believe) it says to connect the two finishes (ends) and use the south (or north) coil start for the ground and the north (or south) coil start for the hot.

This isn't making sense to me. I emailed TV (very cool by the way!) and they said that the website is correct. He's telling me to join the starts instead of the ends where it seems that all others join the ends instead of the starts.

Any help? Suggestions?

If you connect the start and end you have standard humbucking series. If you connect the starts or ends you have parallel humbucking. I have never been able to get a straight answer from anyone, but I believe filtertrons are two coils in parallel, rather than series.
