    Default Invader in Basswood

How does this pup do in basswood. I have an ESP V I want to put it in and just wondering if it'll do what I'm looking for. I want nice tight lows with lots of good oomph. I'm a rhythm player and the guitar is a string thru V. I play thru a Vox AD50VTXL

Any other wood I would say yes but, from my expereince with (B)asswood and also the Invader, I would say no. Yet, I have not played them together.
