I love the sound of your playing and that amp. I've been lusting after one of those for a while now.

I was wondering have you tried adjusting the gain trim pot? I've read where it will start to sound more 'Marshally' if you turn it up. I don't know if there are any clips around of someone playing with that adjustment made.

    Anyway - great tone.

I have 2 ceriatone amps: one is the non-HRM version and I have never opened it our touched anything inside (except the tubes). The other one is an HRM and it has an external knob which allows to change the trim pot. Essentially the amp becomes gainer. In practice, there are 3 knobs with with I can add the gain (pre-amp volume knob, Overdrive Knob, trim pot knob) and each has its own flavour. Pretty versatile.

    thanks
