    Default Lil 59 Height...

    Hey guys,

I love my Lil 59 but since this is my very first time with this type of pickup, I want to make sure I'm adjusting the height properly. The pickup is very thick and full. There's no twang at all. You think I have them set too high?

I'd back it off and raise the poles a bit and see if that helps

    Still too fat...

I'm going to lower the pickups a tad and also replace the 250k tone pot with a 500k pot.

My tele is ash, with a maple neck, and was too bright with 550k+ pots, backed it off to 300k vol and 550K+ tone seemed to help.
I'd say try 500k and see if that does it for you. You could also wire it parallel.
