Default a bridge pickup in the neck, is it possible

Hello, wanting to put an antiquity bridge pickup into the neck of another guitar, I'm wondering is this possible? I'm not sure of the phasing issues that could arise, we're talking about a single coil pickup here. The guitar is an H/S/S config. Any help you guys could offer would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance,

it's definitely possible, and unless you've got fender singles you shouldn't have phase issues. if they are fender singles, just reverse the black and green wires and you should be set.

Hey thanks for getting back to me, it's an anderson, with an anderson humbucker in the bridge, a suhr V60LP RWRP in the middle, and soon to have the duncan in the neck. I had this in my strat, and changed bridg pickups, but I think it'd sound great in the neck of this guitar, a tiny bit hotter than a normal neck single. Much appreciated,
    Kurt

Certainly it should work perfectly well, just, like Ska says, you may need to swap the black and green wires.
Some Duncans (unless bought as a set), like the SSL-1, don't even come in set "bridge" "neck" "middle" versions - you just buy the SSL-1 and put it in whichever positions you want it to go. So that says it all really.

Any PAF or low output PU works in the neck slot. The problem with that comes when a bridge PU is too hot for the neck, and then you get a dark, muffled, muddy tone, that'll probably overpower the PU in the bridge slot.

For me, in a thick mahogany body like an LP, I want a neck PU at 8,000 ohms or less, to keep definition. But in most other guitars, with either brighter woods or a thinner body (like an SG), a bridge PAF works fine in the neck slot.

For a while I was using a Pearly Gates bridge in the neck position in conjunction with 250k pots. It sounded outstanding! It was the only sound I used for a long time actually.

the PG (bridge model) is what I use in the neck position of my superstrat to balance out the Alternative 8. I have to agree that the PGb is an outstanding neck pickup.

The Jazz bridge is another good option for a neck pickup. Some even prefer the JazzB over the JazzN for the neck slot.
I started out with nothing...and I still have most of it left.

    I can vouch for that.

The '59b is a great neck p'up too specially if used with a C5.
