Hey all, I just installed my forum singles (strabros?) in my strat with a p-rails in the bridge, and I'm experiencing quite the odd problem with the middle pickup. When I wired everything up, I checked with a screwdriver to make sure everything was working properly, and I got sound from all 3 pickups. Now that I have strings on the guitar, when I switch to the middle pickup, I can't get sound from just the top 3 strings. I know it can't be a short in the pickup, because then it wouldn't sound at all, so I think it may be an issue with the magnet, but I can't open up the pickup to check it out. Has anybody ever experienced this problem with the forum singles?

also, when I tap the non-sounding pole pieces with a screwdriver, sound comes out of the amp, which leads me to believe that the magnet may be at fault as well, am I correct in assuming this? What else could it be?
