... And I'm really digging the strabro 90's more and more. At first, they sounded kinda harsh and brittle, but once I got the height and stagger set up to taste, they really started rocking. With the p-rails in the bridge, this is such a versatile instrument! My only complaint is that I wasn't able to figure out how to wire a blender pot to roll in the bridge in the neck positions on the strat, so I can't really do that tele neck+bridge sound, but other than that, I'm pleased as pie!

I really like how the strabro sounds in single coil mode, very clear with a very broad response - I guess deep is the word I would use. P-90 mode is good too, but i would have liked more definition - compared with single coil mode, the bass is a bit warm and vague. Still sounds great though, I think seymour and mj did a really great job with these, but I haven't really read reviews like we had with the crazy 8 and brobucker - Just an occasional comment here and there, which is kinda disappointing considering how good this pickup is - I like it better than the surfers that used to be in my (maple necked) strat.

Anybody else still using the forum single?
