I could make some sort of recording but I doubt you'd be able to tell what it's like from any other pickup. I don't really find that it sounds so much different from any other pickup. I wanted to try it and ended up keeping it because I felt it would be a nice cross between the two pickups - and it is. Also, I have the Jimmy Page wiring so I can use each coil by itself and they sound pretty different from each other.

To me, it's a very good bridge pickup for my Warmoth LP. The guitar is all mahogany and chambered and has a rosewood fingerboard. I originally had a Custom in the bridge position and didn't like it. It sounded harsh and compressed and didn't really sing on leads. Sounded kind of dull to me, comparitively.

One drawback of this hybrid is, because the coils are so mismatched, it's a bit noisier than a typical humbucker. Not a lot, but I can notice it when my amp is loud and I'm not playing. If I switch from the neck to the bridge there's a noticible increase in noise.

    the resistance is around 11.3

I don't think there are any clips in that thread. I could be wrong, but I went through it pretty thoroughly when I was making my hybrid.

That's how I remember it as well.
