Yep. If you can see that most of what the military uses now is 20 year old technology, then just wait till you see the 'big brother' stuff they're working on now.

It freaks me out enough that you can go on google earth, stand on a street, then look up at the sky!

of course there are alot of "freaks" around looking to make money off "cool" stories so I always take all this stuff with a grain of salt. But then again I dont trust what the gov tells us either.

Jack Nicholson: It's not true. Some have great stories, pretty stories that take place at lakes with boats and friends and noodle salad. Just no one in this car. But, a lot of people, that's their story. Good times, noodle salad. What makes it so hard is not that you had it bad, but that you're that pissed that so many others had it good.

Aye...conspiracy theories. One of my least favorite things in the world.

I'll just stay out of this one instead of causing a ruckus like I did last time...it seems like it's harmless enough.

Don't get me started on the 9/11 conspiracy theory fools though...

Ok, Ok, now this one made me giggle...one of his conspiracy theories taken from wikipedia:

The 12 moon-walkers, who would be well qualified to confirm the existence of lunar artifacts and glass structures, have had their memories selectively edited so that they no longer remember seeing evidence of a lunar civilization.

Now, comon, that's just silly. How did we do that again? Oh...wait...we can erase people's memories using ancient technology that NASA is keeping secret. That's right. And they're using it on people who've seen it so that they can't remember that they've seen it. That's not circular reasoning at all, either.

The...uh...last little rant there was conjecture on my part. Don't know if that's really what he believes or not. /disclaimer.

It's so easy to prove it happened with a little research.

    first, full disclosure:
my dad worked on the booster rockets for the saturn V rocket that took apollo 11 to the moon. so yea, maybe i'm biased, oh well

while i definitely think the government has been involved in cover ups and conspiracies, and has proven itself to be untrustworthy, i think the idea that the moon landings were faked is completely ludicrous. the evidence that we have gone to the moon is too great. and to add to that, i'm completely convinced there is no way the government/NASA could organize, plan, and pull off that complex of a hoax.

I think it's a shame to drag one of the biggest achievement of American resourcefulness and determination (well, and their Germans' ) through the dirt like that.

Nobody with a basic understanding of gravitation and ballistics can observe modern airplanes and missiles and not think it is possible to go to the moon.

There's a website that I found recently that basically documents everything they can find about Area 51, and then posts it on their site. It's kind of interesting actually. I was looking through it recently and this HUGE hangar recently was built at the south and of the complex... wonder what cool toy they got in there?

How big is the hangar compared to other major air force bases?

I've seen hangars that big at major airports to house 747s and the like so it's not abnormally large but they are impressive sights nonetheless. Wonder what's in there?
