Well, it's DiMarzio Air Zone in the bridge now. It has mid/high output with lots of bass. It sounds pretty dull on clean, even though it's A5 magnet inside. Maybe it's that 17.5 KOhms of wire to blame? Comparing to my SD Pearly Gates Plus it sounds like a bright switch is off. Seriously it's that much of a difference. Anyway, on drive channel that extra bass gives it very mighty sounding powerchords.
