Now I've only seen this one other time in my life and that was like 5 years ago or whatever, and it was on my sidewalk.
Anyways, yall know I do that I do that cable tv crap for a living. During the hot summer months, Black Widows like to cool down. I'd say at least 75%-85% of the time I open up a cable ped....there is a black widow spider in it during the summer months.
No big deal to me. I'm just used to it. They're just as afraid of me as I am of them. We just both go about our business and leave each other alone.
They're in there with their sacks lookin after their "sack babies" or whatever ya wanna call em. I usually see mama and somewhere between 3-6 egg sack thingies. Anyways...long story short.....
Was workin today and was gettin ready to get in the ped when I saw all these lil tiny insects. They were crawlin on the ped, flyin around in the air and all kinds of stuff. It wasn't until I got upon the cable ped and looked real close, that I realized they were hundreds of baby black widows....lol. They're like pink and see thru, and tiny.
That was a trip. I've only seen that one other time. I think I read once that each lil spider pod thing holds like up to 600 of them lil crazy things.
Anyways, I didn't kill any of them. I figured the heat would do it, since they were on the outside.
