I would like sports if they had better names for the teams. They have Lions, Tigers and Bears (oh my). Cardinals, BlueJays, Orioles and Eagles. Buffalo, Wolverines and Dolphins, but not one Opossum.

The Titans still own all of the rights to the Oilers name and marketing rights. Personally I wouldn't mind if Houston was able to revive the Oilers name, but property rights are property rights.

Oh, I definitely understand the legal aspects of it. But still...it just aint right. Some of my earliest memories of football were going to the Astrodome with my father to watch the Oilers during the Warren Moon era. Even saw Steve McNair (RIP) back when he was just an up-and-comer in the league before they shipped off to Jollyland.

I did not watch the HoF game. I have very little interest in preseason NFL... it's only slightly more meaningful than Spring Training baseball. For me football season starts when college football begins. Then again, I've always preferred the college game to the NFL. Once the NFL and NCAA are both going I never have to worry about not having anything to do on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

I am not a Bengals fan. I am a Browns fan. I did not grow up in Cincinnati and I have been rooting, against all hope, for the Browns as long as I can remember.

One of these days you'll be my age and remember awesome memories like that.

That's awesome you got to see Steve play, yet it's just as awesome you got to see Warren play!!.

Those are two amazing quarterbacks that will go down in the history of the game.
