Planet Waves also have a lifetime warranty on them now too. At GC we had to treat PW cables just like Monsters.Originally Posted by APB_4
For both Monster and PW cables any authorized dealer can honor the warranty; you can get new cables or your $$ back.
BTW personally I think Planet Waves is the more durable cable (why do you think Monster changed their design recently?) but i use Monsters and PW's exclusively.

one mroe question why does some of them say for "mono" and other say for "stereo"? arent they all for guitar amps?
My God....
You've all been brain-washed by marketing....
Bottom-line....any difference you hear in sound between a decently made standard grade cable and a Monster/Planet Waves/George L is a parasympathetic reaction from paying entirely too much for the cable.
The only reason you should ever buy a Monster cable is for the warranty; you may need to use it for a tie-down on your car someday and the ability to get them to give you another one is nice...but then again you do pay for that up front.
I've owned Planet Waves, I've owned Monster.....there's no difference when compared to simply rigging up your own with decent quality components (Radio Shack jacks could count as decent quality components).
Y'all are delusional. Next thing you'll tell me is that the switchtip on my Strat effects my tone.....

it does! .....no... no it doesn't....

Monster cables. Had mine for almost 10 years, haven´t needed the warranty yet![]()

Ummmm.... sure man whatever. And i suppose the difference between DiMarzios and Duncans is an illusion as well.Originally Posted by Skarekrough
Even if there were no difference in tone I'd rather pay $30 once than $15 every time a cable of mine goes bad and can't be repaired.
