Holy Crap!!! I love this dude. He is all about songwriting, and I just love that!!

What a great songwriter man. You don't have to like him, but surely you can appreciate this guy.

Yeah, I think I posted that, but anyways..........

I never was a really big fan of Bryan Adams until about maybe 1987 or so. I'd seen him open up for Journey on the "Frontiers Tour" maybe? He was freakin awesome!!. I didn't even know who he was.

That dude came out and was a punk kid and jammed!! I've never in my entire life seen anyone ever break that many strings on a guitar ever. He broke at least two strings per guitar per song. It tripped me out.

He and ole Keith Scott just jammed!!

Anyways..........pan to like five years later. I used to always go watch all the bands show up out here at Middle Tennessee State University and load in and stuff like that.

Well, I was hangin out back of Murphy Center one day while the stage and stuff was being setup. I was hangin out back lookin at Bryan's tour busses. They were groovy. All of a sudden I look to my right and I see this dude that just looks exactly like Bryan Adams. I figure wtf? right?

This dude is on a bike talkin to all these college chicks. I walk over there and go..."What's up man? How you doin bro?"

He's like," man, tell these chicks who I am". I say "you're Bryan Adams man". He's like...."naw, tell them that I play soccer, and they just think I'm him". So, I pretty much say, "man, that ain't Bryan Adams, that's that soccer player that plays out here for the University".

Long story short......bryan Adams tells me "thanks, they couldn'
t have been no more than 15........you comin' to the show tonight man?".

I told him "no, I don't have any tickets". Bryan Adams proceeded to reach in his soccer shorts and give me a pair of tickets to his own concert.

I always thought that was cool. They weren't the best seats in the house, but they were free, and they were from him.

By the way, the opening act was "Scandal"

Keith Scott has gotten a LOT of praise over the years on this forum. He is a terrific player, and quite the underrated one at that.

I saw him live a few times...the whole band really rocks out. Keith Scott is the man! If you havent heard it then you need to check out the album live live live. Pretty badass

That unplugged version of Heaven is awesome. I've always dug him since the "Cuts Like A Knife" album, thanks to one of my sisters. I still have the cassettes too. Good stuff, Jolly. Summer of '69 is one of my favs.
