    Default Fender Power Strat?

What's the consensus here on the Fender Power Strat? It looks pretty versatile to me, but I'd be curious to hear from any of you that might own + play one of these. I've been looking for a nice strat, and thought the whole Fishman Power bridge thing was kinda interesting. The thing I don't know is how useful that sound really is in a band situation. Realizing of course that it's nowhere near a nice acoustic, yet it might add some different sounds.

i'd use one of these no problem... i use a Godin with a Piezo trem and love it... i play it thru the Clean Channel of my Classic 50 head and it just sings... it does not sound like an acoustic guitar thru a real guitar amp, but when i mix the neck PU and the Piezo's i get the best clean sound i have ever heard

The Fishman bridges are quality items for sure... and i like MIM Fender strats... so i could see being very happy with that model!!!

for fun try the Power Strat's Power Bridge thru a real Acoustic amp... you will be surprised at how good it can sound!
