Looking at the photograph of the kit circuit diagram, I notice the Position 1, 2, 3 captions. Bassy preset, direct preset, adjustable tone control. These are in the wrong order compared to the Fender tradition.

The hyperlink posted above by Jeremy will show you how things ought to be connected.

NOTE: Both the kit and SD schematic diagrams assume that you are using a three-way selector switch with the contacts laid out according to USA-spec.

    Thanks you so much!
But now I have some difficulties to compare the diagram with the CLR switch cause:
    new one is:
    1___3___5___7
    __2___4___6___8

    SD is :
    ___O___O___O___O
    O____O___O___O

Assuming i'm gonna follow SD standard esquire, what's the correct SD translation, comparing with the other one?
    So:
    ___1___3___5___7
    _2___4___6___8

    or so:
    ___2___4___6___8
    _1___3___5___7

    Thx

On a CRL-type switch, the wiper contacts should be 1 and 8.
