Default Mustang wiring, does this work?

I'm installing SSL4 and Little '59 to a Mustang and came up with this wiring. Does it work like I think it does

Another wiring that I thought was to wire the other switch as a normal pickup selector but i can't think of what to do with the other switch. Any suggestions? Is it possible to use it as series-parallel-split switch for the '59 or something like that?

Also is 250k pots ok for vol and tone or would 500k be better?

    Thanks

I reckon that the black output conductor from the Li'l '59 needs to go via the three-way slider switch. (The same way that the SSL-4 does.) Otherwise, the Li'l '59 will be in circuit all the time.

If I understand correctly theres no ground connected to the '59 in the middle position, so wouldn't it be off?

Still, if I chance the wiring to this, none of the '59s wires is connected to vol or tone pots so there is nothing extra hanging in the circuit. Would it be better?

    The second schematic is correct.

In the first diagram that you posted, even though the Bridge PU slider switch is off in the centre position, there may be a slight "leak" across the contacts, making a partial connection to ground.

Also, because the black conductor from the Bridge PU is permanently connected to the volume pot, with the slider switch in the "off" position, the output cable will act as a radio frequency interference receiver.
