    Question Antiquity help!!!

Im working on a heritage 535 that is getting a set of antiquity pickups, at the moment all I could afford was the bridge to replace the stock heritage pickup. However after installing the pickup, I am having a huge difference in volume. I went through and checked all my wiring and it seems correct, but while testing the pickups I found that the stock heritage pickup read around 4k ohms and the heritage at 8.5k. Would this cause a change this drastic in volume?

If so is there anything I can do to keep my guitar gigging until I can pick up the matching antiquity???

That can't be right for the neck pickup.

    Is it a 4-conductor pickup?

you said both are heritage pups but im assuming that the stock neck pup is 4k and the antiquity bridge is 8.5. 4k is pretty weak for just about anything.

if thats what you are getting and the antiquity is louder, you can lower the louder pup and raise the quiet one closer to the strings
