Talking So I finally did it, my first Duncan purchase in ages!

The last time I think I purchased a pickup was the Antiquity humbucker set for my Les Paul Standard in jeez, 2002???

I placed an order for the Twang Banger for Strat! Do any of you guys dig this pickup? I really like the middle and neck positions on my '56 RI Strat, but the bridge is a bit thin for my taste. The tele bridge sound is one of my favorite tones (and I'm not a country player). Hopefully this pickup will be a keeper in my guitar, I really want this thing to be the best single coil machine it can be

No love for the Twang Banger? I guess I'll be able to judge the pickup soon enough myself

See you again in 7 years LOL!

I've never had a twangbanger. I'm not a huge single coil guy. I've read many others saying they love this pickup. When they come up for sale they go quickly, so I think you made the right choice.

I loved the banger. If I still had a strat, it would still be in the bridge position of it.

I love the twangbanger as well. Awesome tones out of that little bugger. I have to say my favorite twangbanger was one I had wound for me at the UGD a few years ago. Antiquity Texas Hot Hot Twangbanger is what they called it. It was a TB overwound to about 10.3K with a baseplate. Best strat bridge pickup EVER.

Dude, the TB is where its at. I have it in my Tricaster and it just twangs and smokes all day long! I LOVE it!
