Hey guys,
How would a Bridge model C5 sound in the neck of a maple 335 with a Mahogany neck. The guitar in question is an SX with upgraded tuners, no f-holes, semi-hollow.
thanks in advance!

well first as far as i know there is no neck version.
second i think it would sound bad. the c5 has a good amount of bottom end which will probably sound like mud in the neck of almost any guitar

OK cool. How about a George Lynch Screaming Demon in the Neck?

I don't like high output pickups in either position of a 335...

Before pulling the wiring out of a difficult guitar like a semi hollow, I'd make sure you have a nicely calibrated set. If you're stuck with too many bridge pickups, trade one for a neck.
In your guitar, I'd go for something like a C5/59 or C5/PGn. Trade away the Screamin Demon for one of those.

Thanks man. Yeah i think i might just do that.
I've done that wiring before for this guitar. Had to use fishing line to pull stuff back into place (no f-holes ). I took steps to make it easier for future. I have extra long wires coming to pickup cavities. So now all i gotta do is simply unsolder the pickup wires from the other wires, and replace the pickups (no need to remove the pots and switch).
Yeah PG or 59 would be nice for the neck i guess.
